Just makes me more determined to figure out what the problem is.

Sounds like it might be more fun to play on PS3 maybe? I don't have 2 player controllers on my PC.

What about your sound card? That has been known to fuck up the video.

It's not split screen, I have 2 copies installed on 2 computers. The only problem AFAIK with the PS3 version is Sony's network keeps getting hacked. Supposedly, the PS3 and PC versions are compatible, although I haven't tried it.

Really?

I got pissed off at my PS3 and packed it away in the basement. Still holding a grudge.

First, the unfixable bugs in Oblivion, and then Ratchet and Clank wouldn't work at all. Found out I would need to upgrade my system. Fuck you PS3. I payed way too much for you to be running into the same shit as my PC. I'm not getting you any patches, upgrades, driver updates, and I'm not reformatting your hard drive (again). You're staying in the basement until you learn to be more like my trusty PS2.

So help me, if I go through the trouble to set up my PS3 again, just to find that Portal2 has the exact same black screen bug on my PS3......

I'm on vacation in Ohio right now. Will have to wait until this weekend.

I'll bet money that the PS3 version will require all the latest updates, plus some, and you might want to confirm the PlayStation network is actually working....

It's not.

I'm not paying for the network.

I didn't even really want the PS3. Got it as a gift.
