We are also having a big snow storm on the James Bay coast. Tonight was parent/teacher night, but we still had a few parents/guardians show up and several students were around to help out. At some point, we decided to eat all the snacks (fresh fruit, yoghurt, cheese) that were put out. It was a pleasant evening mingling with parents and fellow teachers. Before we left, one of the custodians went out and shoveled a passage through a snow drift that was completely blocking our exit.

Our two-week "Goose Break" (Traditional Hunting) vacation starts Thursday afternoon. Some teachers are worried that we will be snowed in. I'm only going across the river to another community (literally a five-minute flight), so if my flight is cancelled I can get one of my students to take me on a snowmobile!

While it normally stays quite cold until May, it is unusual to get this much snow!

Recently someone accused me of being insensitive. And I thought, how did this fat bitch get her wheelchair up the stairs to my house?

Could be worse. Could have had to eat the parents.

You are in Wyoming aren't you? What did you expect?

Good plan. :)

The Great PNW is sunny and warm this morning. Hang around 5 minutes: It'll change.

Both scenarios called for more cold weather, and worse storms.
