I think he put it behind him a long time ago. Though he was fired by NBC and resigned from his post at Columbia, he had a successful career with Encyclopedia Britannica (no, not as a door-to-door salesman) and wrote many books.

I think also that, 60 years later, we've become so used to fake programming, especially on reality shows, that the 50's game shows scandal seems kind of quaint.

We haven't become 'used' to it. We mistake it for reality. And this is contributing to our undoing.
You can lead them to knowledge, but you can't make them think.
