Indeed.
No modern advertiser would speak so slightingly of vitamins, even in jest.
BTW, that's not actually real, is it? It's someone's idea of a joke.
I do remember Cream of Wheat. It was one of my favorites.

Liked the "Powers of 10" movie in his time (77). Shows how virtual reality, and aesthetics, have evolved…

I heard that one above the other day on a daily song podcast I subscribe to. I don't like every song I hear on that podcast, or even most of them, really, but occasionally I find one that I like, and I get to hear a lot of different ones that I might not encounter otherwise.
I just now found a couple more by the same people. I find them relaxing. If you liked it, check these out too:

They work just as audio too, you don't actually have to watch the video to enjoy.

I remember this one from the 1964 New York World's Fair.
The Triumph of Man

If there were another World's Fair this one would never fly, and not just because of the sexist language.
You could easily fix that particular problem.
But it would still be way too pro human and non-apocalyptic for modern audiences.
There was some static at the time about graphic violence in the dioramas. I still have a couple of the recordings kicking around somewhere.

The flash of light you saw in the sky was not a UFO. Swamp gas from a weather balloon was trapped in a thermal pocket and reflected the light from Venus.

I have a book here titled, "The Golden Age of Advertising-the 60's" and a scanner.
Name your poison, boys.
For you Dexter fans...
