I was going to ask how the machine gun shown inside the War Tank was supposed to fire through the armour, wheel, and tire without causing damage. Now I can see it is offset to one side and presumably can't be aimed except by turning the whole tank, so I have a sort of answer to that. Also how the hell the operator got in and out of the thing. But then I considered the utter ridiculousness of the whole concept and decided not to comment. However, following ed's comment I decided I would after all. :P

Navvies constructing a railway line in Sweden ca 1900.

Maybe the guy in the tie and vest is the boss, and the one wearing a tie but no vest is second in line? Is that a tie anyway?

British equivalent. The London Midland Scottish (LMS) Princess Coronation class pacifics.

Streamlining was removed later for ease of maintenance - and the trains then ran just as fast and economically - proving that the streamlining was merely an advertising gimmick at the speeds trains used to run back then (always less than 100mph in service, and mostly less than 90mph).

The flash of light you saw in the sky was not a UFO. Swamp gas from a weather balloon was trapped in a thermal pocket and reflected the light from Venus.
