The flash of light you saw in the sky was not a UFO. Swamp gas from a weather balloon was trapped in a thermal pocket and reflected the light from Venus.

I'm surprised that there were very few of the moon shot control room monitors equipped with qwerty keyboards.

They included the ashtray, matches, and a pack of Kent. Cool.

But how much did this cost? As long as it came out of the ISS budget, I'm cool with that too.

Interesting.

I never had a toy hand grenade (or toy guns) because my parents were weird that way.

But I played with one at a friend's house. You put in a cap (like for a cap pistol), and it made a satisfying bang when it hit something.

Ever played with a toy hand grenade, ed?

I know you're old enough.

Famous picture by Diane Arbus, portrait photographer of the nasty persuasion (from the contact sheet you can see she chose the creepiest version).
I'll put some pics in our artsy thread.

so roughly the cost of feeding one ISS occupant for a year. (500 pounds of food at $10k/pound to leo). It's going to be hard to pick which one has to go hungry.

They'll bill the tourists that they plan to fly to the ISS.
