Just as point of interest or nostalgia. Concorde used to fly very low over our suburb when I was a kid.

Everytime you heard that distinctive roar everyone would stop and look up. Kids, Adults, Everyone.

Such a beautiful bird.

I flew it once. It's interesting, the older you get the fewer things there are to to "the first time". This was one that was memorable. When the after burners kicked in it left an impression. Funny ... my wife was not paying attention to the pilot who explained what would happen when we went super sonic. When it occurred she thought that there was something VERY wrong and panicked.
