Shows that the election was close and turnout was on the lowish side, but not much else.

I think "bio" in this context == what Anglophone morons call "organic".

But in the case of the Swiss it's probably because they were already there before it was cool.

Is that right? Of course, "organic" is a misnomer anyway, so "bio" may also be a similar misnomer.

Does "bio" exclude GMOs? The marketing term "organic" excludes GMOs, despite the fact that they are just as organic and biological as their non-GMO counterparts.

↑ "Bio" seems to be the same thing as your "organic" (they even exclude irradiated food).

Wait, how did they measure that? Is that Charlotte in the SE ? Bigger than, say, Atlanta?

Hmmm.... might call bs on that one

I was wondering that myself.

This one shows Atlanta:

Define "economic activity". :P

Two Chicago School economists were out for a walk on campus. One of them points out a dog turd on the pavement and says to the other,

I'll pay you $10,000 cash on the spot if you eat that.

A little farther along another dog turd, and the same thing with the characters reversed. The normal telling is to spin it out into a shaggy dog story.

Punchline:
We both had to eat shit, but we generated $20,000 of economic activity. :cowbell:

Whereas other forms of economic activity (involved in eating things other than shit) is more land intensive.
