The flash of light you saw in the sky was not a UFO. Swamp gas from a weather balloon was trapped in a thermal pocket and reflected the light from Venus.

The colour of a track, and its vertical position on the chart, appear to signify nothing. The horizontal axis doesn't appear to be directly related to time either. Drawn like that for artistic rather than informative reasons?

An attempt at being cutesy-pooh, I think.

However, I'm thinking the width of the band is significant. Sort of like that famous chart of Napoleon's invasion of Russia.

The green ones are bills that originated in the House, and the blue ones originated in the Senate. The horizontal axis is progress toward becoming a law.

Yeah, but green and blue become orange/beige/pink/purple signifying what exactly? I realize that the horizontal axis signifies progress, but there are no obvious units for the amount of progress - the length of each section seems arbitrary. The vertical position of a track and its degree of waviness seems to signify nothing whatsoever.
