Compared to Europe, the whole USA is one big Bible belt.

Even Madison Wisconsin. :)

Can't say I'm surprised as I don't know much, but I wonder:
  • what's the dark blob between Colorado & New Mexico (and a tiny part of Oklahoma)?
  • how come the Bible Belt seems to go so far up North?
That middle belt represents flyover country; very low density populations, lots and lots of farmers.

While the resolution is by county, it's a little misleading because some counties have very low populations. That black blob in SE Colorado is Las Animas County. Population density is 4 people/m2 (and two of them are Mexican-style Catholics.

Monday through Saturday they tend their fields. Church on Sunday may be the only socialization they get.

The flash of light you saw in the sky was not a UFO. Swamp gas from a weather balloon was trapped in a thermal pocket and reflected the light from Venus.

I have plenty of booze. And if I touched a hooker, Mrs. Shemp would kill me before the virus got a chance.

Interesting. "Greed" strongly correlates with Democrats in state and local office.
Whereas the others either go the Republican or are not definitive.

And correlating "gluttony" with fast food reflects class bias.

#40YearsAgo at #MountStHelens: 8:35 AM Gary Rosenquist & friends camp near Bear Meadow. Ground shakes, mtn sliding. He dashes to tripod, grabs at camera & accidentally turns it slightly right centering the eruption cloud. Photos helps scientists understand early events.
