Don't let Ed fool you, it's brutal right now in Florida.

It's like 64 degrees right now.

It's horrible.

No, we made it ok, thanks for asking.

I had to swap out my gay boy short shorts for Bermuda's though. Needed the extra coverage.

ed has granted me a 1/4 acre lot on his property. Right on the lake. 30 year lease. Rights to egress, ingress, and a small dock for minor permit-free fishing. I will build my tiny house. I will have solar panels on my roof. I will counsel his wife in matters marital. It will be good.

Hampton, Fla
NYT wrote:So many speeding tickets were churned out for so many years and with such brazenness that this city of 477 residents came under scrutiny — and not just for revenue raising with a radar gun. Now, Hampton, an 89-year-old city, is fighting legislative momentum to wipe it off the map, after a state audit last month uncovered reams of financial irregularities, shoddy record-keeping and missing funds.

The state attorney, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the Bradford County Sheriff’s Office recently opened a criminal investigation, focusing primarily on the actions of the city’s three former full-time employees — the city clerk, the maintenance operator and the police chief.

“If half of this is remotely true, they’ve used the city as a personal pocketbook,” said the Bradford County sheriff, Gordon Smith, who routinely butted heads with John Hodges, Hampton’s police chief.

MARY ESTHER, Fla. — A Florida man told police he shot his mother with a gun and a bow-and-arrow and then stabbed her Sunday because he claimed she "stole his diamonds and also gave his father cancer," authorities said.

The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office received a call at 2:48 a.m. Sunday reporting a man knocking over Christmas decorations and yelling at another person. When deputies arrived, they found 65-year-old Gloria Watkins slumped forward in a chair with arrows protruding from her head.

People who don't live in Florida think it's full of crazy shit happening. All the time.

But they ignore facts like Florida doesn't have any school shootings. Or Ferguson.

Man reports home ablaze; fire dept. turns him away
A Plantation man ran barefoot from his home to the closest fire station, about four houses away. Banging on the door, he hollered: My house is on fire!

But Neville Morrison, 67, was turned away by an emergency medical technician, who insisted he call 911 by phone and not report the fire in person, fire officials said.

"I said, 'I have no phone,' " Morrison recounted. "I said, 'You can see the blaze coming out of the roof of my house.' He told me twice to call 911, and then he closed the door with me standing outside."
