Listened (there is really nothing to watch which you would have known if YOU sat thru it). He makes the point that that guy Kunsler made in my earlier post. The demise of the black nuclear family has had the same impact here. Shock.

LBJ started it and was instrumental in increasing the black single parent household rate
https://www.heritage.org/welfare/commen ... fare-state
Once again, government helped.

https://www.jefferymyersunleashed.io/bl ... he_numbers

But it's racist to point all that shit out. Keeping quiet is merely genocidal and that is evidentally OK.

You know that more black men were murdered in Chicago over the past two years than were lynched over 100 years? Thats a racist statistic though,.

Demise of the black family no different in UK than USA.
Folks here carry knives all the time, and not specifically for protection.
The one I carry would be illegal in the UK, but it's a folding knife. No good for quick draw and fighting.

Also, why is fried chicken associated with blacks in the UK?
Are they deliberately emulating African Americans?

There's been a lot of discussion elsewhere in the forum about the relative merits of New York versus Chicago style pizza.

Here is English style pizza. :P

As in the USA there are regional variations.

Here is deep fried Scottish style pizza.

Couldn't find anything specific for Wales or Norn Iron.

Sorry.

These things are indeed horrible – that's how they repelled the Armada –, but you're a bit unfair. One of the morsels I appreciated (and always found to be tasty) in English pubs were the Cornish Past(r)ies (somewhat similar to Turkish pitta):

Image

A pity that British beer is a bit watery to go with that.

And to strive for encyclopaedic completeness, the best lasagna I ever ate at a restaurant… that was at an Irish pub! :)

Ha - the best lasagna (and worst pizza) I’ve had were subsidized student meals at university.

Controversial Italian food opinion: on pasta (bolognese etc) an extra mature cheddar is fat superior to Parmesan.

First reaction: Foul heretic!
Upon mature reflection: Perhaps this is true with English tomato sauce.

But of course the universally correct grated cheese for pasta with tomato sauce is pecorino Romano. 8)

I will try that, but getting good cheddar here is difficult.

Not a great fan of tomato sauce on pasta. For me it's either mushrooms (e. g. boletus in a wine sauce) or just some good olive oil with garlic (and pepper).
The Parmesan question is tricky. If you find a good (there's a lot of counterfeiting) & old (it should have become somewhat crumbly with "crystals" in its texture) Parmesan, it is such a pleasure to eat it for itself – with some dried fruit, walnuts, and a glass of Amarone – that grating it to let it then melt on pasta is sacrilege.
So I actually prefer Grana Padano, or even a Swiss Sbrinz:

Folks here really think grated Kraft is the quintessential parmesan. It ain't either.

I'm a guy that likes a nice stinky cheese. Real parmesan is far stinkier. It almost compares to Anax's mom.

It’s why scots were such great travelers and emigrated to distant lands.

Note for Americans:

Despite what you might think, "tatties" and "neeps" are not slang words for parts of a woman's body.
They sound like they are, but they are not.

That is all.
