The flash of light you saw in the sky was not a UFO. Swamp gas from a weather balloon was trapped in a thermal pocket and reflected the light from Venus.

Yep, I felt it last night. Just enough of a rumble to make my apartment creak and for me to notice it.

As of today, Nyarlathotep is a free man.

Okay, not really, but free of my former job which I fucking despised with every fiber of my being and resented every goddam soul-sucking moment that I spent there. Monday, I start my new gig. Shorter commute, more money and I am allowed to have writing instruments and paper at my desk and can go to the bathroom whenever I please like a goddamned adult. Even if I end up not liking the new job, it will STILL be a hundred times better than the old one.

Have I mentioned how much I hated that job? I hated that job.

If I could have made a voodoo doll that somehow symbolized my last job, I would have done that.

This is why I hang Cowboy Paper to prevent such annoyances. Granted, you have to change the paper ever other day, especially during their matting season, but then you do not want them in your bed room then either.

Unless. . . .

. . . not that there is anything . . .

make room for just one more hypothetical: what if Godzilla was real? And, worse, what if Godzilla decided that humans aren’t all that cool? What if the big guy had enough of our climate abuse, our nuclear testing, and our Brexit indecision and decided he was going turn the coast to toast? What if Godzilla really did attack a major city? How might we respond? We look at the probable ways a US city would handle an attack based on real-life procedures

These guys know how to respond to a Godzilla attack (even if, due to international copyright laws, it LOOKS like Godzilla, but it is not)
