I think that my reply was measured and characteristically helpful.

Lister, OTOH, was denigrating and triggering. Even I, sensitive wight that I am, feel like hiding in a safe space for a few days.

This latest catastrophe is entirely on Lister.

I don't usually enter into a banter area, but I stumbled upon this --- well, my fingers do the stumbling --- my fingers stumbled into here and this seems a kind of - - - well, what's the right vocabulary? Something about this thread seems kind of neat, is what I think I mean. I suppose I'm a bit surprised.

But I strongly suspect you folks don't realize just how crazy I am. I am actually trying to come up with some way to create a world government. Until recently I was tagging along with some fella in Washington D.C. but that is more a sort of fraud thing he is running and now I have been given the chance to split a couple thousand of his followers off from that group.

Then, there is that question recently brought forth by an astute very-possibly-human that I am not.

That possibility could actually help me understand a few things that has had me very puzzled and I must study that, but after I get our world government set up. Very busy times.

Oh yes, and I strongly suspect they messed up my last chemo session by forgetting one of them bags of medicine they hang from that pole and drip into you. If I find out that is true I am going to have to get very unpleasant with some of your fellow humans. But it probably will be that the Doc himself wasn't at fault. But it sure is a bad mistake. Even if he ordered that not to be included in the last session, he should have told me. He knows very well I keep notes about everything and I do not hold back when something is amiss. And they have made some nasty mistakes at that hospital. You should see some of the images I have grabbed of some of their mistakes. Nasty stuff, but I keep trying to forget all that while we focus on keeping me alive for a few more years, if I'm lucky.

But now it has gone too far. And other folks may get hurt and they may be folks that don't pay close enough attention to catch mistakes and so they really get hurt.

A lot like that Avast stuff most of y'all think I am so stupid to be doing. Some humans just need to be looked after. It isn't any different than flying medevac. You're helping other humans.

Uh oh, I was called out on that, wasn't I? I shouldn't use "other".

My wife doesn't cook for me much, any more. She keeps herself to herself in our other house over the ridgeline. I suspect this cancer stuff has caused her a kind of grief she doesn't want others to see her trying to handle. I have finally sort of decided to give her all the room she needs to figure it all out and hope she does before I kick the bucket.

Sometimes life's lessons come at the strangest times.

Yep, and a whole mess of folks from all walks of life find that amazingly entertaining. I could make good money off that, if I wasn't so stuck on hiding like I do. I mean, make money by turning it into a comedy routine. But I'd be no good on a stage. That's why I am still looking for a leader.

Well, if you are going to kick the bucket it would be really white of you to take out a nice life insurance policy with me as beneficiary.

Actually, you might take one out for Abdul too. The payout does not have to be as large as mine since Abdul lives in a cold water flat on the edge of what was Cabrini Green and his needs are modest. If you could just do something to supplement the cash he makes from finding bottles and selling them it would doubtless be appreciated. He might also get that wobbly front left wheel on his shopping cart fixed too.
