Oh so I need a chiseler.
The flash of light you saw in the sky was not a UFO. Swamp gas from a weather balloon was trapped in a thermal pocket and reflected the light from Venus.

Bagged up all those old diskettes from the 1990s and stacked them up to use as stairs until I get a suitable replacement.
