Should I mow or not. That is the question.

Would that be a flail or yo-yo? Having wielded both I suspect the illustrator was unfamiliar with the tools.

You must never mow again, even if they decide to require it.

It's against nature. :)

Which do you recommend? I have a yo-yo that needs sharpening. Never used a flail.

Grass in the field is about 3' tall.

Actually, as I mow I find myself naming the plants I'm cutting most of which were taught me by my dad.
Rabbit tobacco
Plantain
Wild strawberry

In that case, hire someone with some serious horsepower.

3ft?! Holy cow! Other than goats I'd say the yo-yo it's a nice rainy day sharpening project that you and your file can get to know each other once again.

Nope. Horsepower as provided by fossil fuel. This isn't the goddamned lawn anymore. It's a motherfucking field and it's trying to kill you. :) You need someone with a hay mowing machine of some sort. Just how big of a 'field' is it?

The natural way is a grazing not mowing. I hear goats are the most efficient.

If you have enough goats. Again, how big is the field? By the time we get done fucking this topic over, it'll all be dry enough to simply burn. That, of course, might take the entire neighborhood.

Pyrrho? Like living there? :)

If it comes to that, I suggest accelerants. Lots of accelerants. Just be careful they can't be traced back to you.

About 1 acre. Tends to pond a bit in the spring and I'm getting too old to be pry-barring a stuck mower out of the mud, so I have to wait until it dries out enough. Considering getting a small push mower but eh, I dunno. Maybe one of these:

A good, standard rotary mower will knock that down, no problem.

The tallest grass I ever cut with a mower was slightly taller than me, and I'm 6' 3".

Just don't try to use the catcher and wire the outlet up. Piece of cake.

That reminds me.

Sheep will do the trick too, and provide loving companionship afterward in a way no mower can.

If you swing that way. :)

Got the mowing done. Mower Bogarted the grass and seized 3 or 4 times. Did not run over the fawn that was hiding in one section. Need to sharpen the blades. Or buy new ones, which would be more work to replace. Also time to change the oil.
