Oh yeah!!!

After advancing to live-show quarterfinals, two Sarasota-Manatee acts have been eliminated from this season of “America's Got Talent.”

Myakka City married couple Les Kimes and Nina Meluzzi’s animal act Pork Chop Revue and Sarasota father-daughter daredevil duo Bello and Annaliese Nock did not advance to semifinals in Wednesday's episode of the NBC talent competition series. They were among 11 acts chosen for the previous night’s episode of live shows, filmed at Universal Studios Hollywood, with five progressing to semifinals.

The Nocks’ planned performance together on a Wheel of Death :o hit an unexpected setback when Bello suffered “an acrobatic injury” during rehearsal. Instead, he watched from the sidelines as Annaliese performed, including at one point walking blindfolded on the outside of the contraption, which was set aflame. The judges were impressed by the feat, with Sofia Vergara claiming the Nocks have “nerves of steel.”

After an introduction showcasing their Myakka City home, Kimes and Meluzzi put on their Pork Chop Revue show, with pigs and hogs performing feats like unrolling a red carpet and jumping hurdles. Judges Vergara, Heidi Klum and Kelly Clarkson (filling in for Simon Cowell, who missed this week’s episodes after an electric bike accident) all had high praise for the act, but Howie Mandel was less complimentary, claiming it was “like a very lethargic dog act.”

Pork Chop Revue was the first act to take the stage in the season 15 premiere, with Klum coming on stage to smooch one of the swine. Along with this season, the Nocks have previously appeared on the series separately, with Bello performing stunts like being shot out of a cannon over a helicopter’s whirring blades and Annaliese locking herself in a box that was blown up by six sticks of dynamite.

Singers Archie Williams, Shaquira McGrath, Roberta Battaglia and Double Dragon and sword swallower Brett Loudermilk were all chosen to advance Wednesday. The episode also featured appearances by past “America's Got Talent” winners Mat Franco and Kodi Lee, a blind, autistic singer-pianist who beat out competitors including North Port child opera singer Emanne Beasha to win last year’s season.
Just realized ... Bello Nock!!!??? Wow. He lives about 5 miles from us.

He bought up a ton of crap from Ringling Bros.. it's all on his property. Guy is a true daredevil.
