Thats great. I think you have to look at the underlying principles rather than the superficialities.
This, for example:
“There are safer ways to make guns that prevent them from being used by unauthorized people, like the Danforth shooter,”
Could be used as an argument for for suing the manufacturer of virtually anything. I see serious paydays for the legal profession.

BTW "smart gun technology" is interesting. The moment it is employed for the military and law enforcement I am all in.
