Mutated polio virus

Post by Pyrrho »

Thanks to effective vaccination, polio is considered nearly eradicated. Each year only a few hundred people are stricken worldwide. However, scientists are reporting alarming findings: a mutated virus that was able to resist the vaccine protection to a considerable extent was found in victims of an outbreak in the Congo in 2010. The pathogen could also potentially have infected many people in Germany.
The flash of light you saw in the sky was not a UFO. Swamp gas from a weather balloon was trapped in a thermal pocket and reflected the light from Venus.

It's really just a question of time.
You can lead them to knowledge, but you can't make them think.

It still amazes me how we're in the 21st Century and yet people are still falling for the 1990's Andy Wakefield hoax. A killed or weakened microbe causing a developmental brain condition? When pigs fly... common sense, but the imbeciles have to ruin it for us. Again!

That strain was the one Glaxo was working on, trying to create a vaccine against it. Before they accidentally dumped 25 liters of it into the local water supply.

Yeah, but what a great marketing plan.

"How we gonna get everybody to take this new Polio vaccine?"

"Hey! Let's 'accidentally' dump a bunch of the mutated virus into the river!"

"Profit!"
oh really?

People are still falling for fluoridation scares, chemtrails, psychics, et cetera.

Don't forget mercury. Some people still put mercury in their bodies. On purpose.

And they literally drink gold and silver.
