Nothing new in that (and it's not even archaeology): it's well known that Morris' "The Naked Ape" is one of the most misleading titles possible. Humans are very seldom "naked" – modulo the customs of the tribe, of course. And that applies from stuffy Victorians to the San.

I think your last sentence can't be applied to that semi-advertising of a semi-interesting book compiling semi-old field notes.
