Someone Collects Pics Of Preachers Wearing Expensive Designer Items To Show The Other Side Of Church

About 37% of Americans attend the church at least once per week, a recent study has shown. However, would this number decrease if they knew their pastors wore sneakers that are worth thousands of dollars? A 29-year-old man name Tyler has set out to find an answer to this question. Tyler has created an Instagram account called PreachersNSneakers, calling out celebrity church leaders for their expensive footwear, and it has reached over 66K followers in just a few weeks.

Trump spiritual adviser says 'demonic networks' have aligned themselves against president

President Trump's spiritual adviser, Paula White, said in the opening prayer before his campaign kickoff rally in Orlando, Fla., on Tuesday that "demonic networks" have aligned themselves against the president.

"Let every demonic network that has aligned itself against the purpose, against the calling of President Trump, let it be broken, let it be torn down in the name of Jesus," she said to a crowd of Trump's supporters before his rally began Tuesday.

"I declare that President Trump will overcome every strategy from hell and every strategy from the enemy," she added, according to video of her remarks.

"I secure his calling, I secure his purpose, I secure his family, and we secure victory in the name which is above every name ... the name of Jesus Christ," she said ending her prayer.

I'm mighty skeptical that Trump ever pays attention to his so-called spiritual adviser.

Just a showpiece for the rubes.

It's not like he ever went in for that sort of stuff before.

Oh but he can't do that because it would be plagiarism.

Somebody else already wrote the Bible. :BigGrin3:

God sent an earthquake to warn Pope Francis.

Not because he's a Commie or soft on homos. It was good old fashioned Protestant style heresy.

http://eponymousflower.blogspot.com/201 ... -over.html
Did God Express His Indignation Over Pope Francis?

By David Martin

On Sunday, June 23, the Feast of Corpus Christi, Pope Francis in his Sunday address made what appeared to be a heretical statement. Speaking on the Holy Eucharist, he said:
"In the presence of the Eucharist, Jesus who becomes bread, this simple bread that contains the entire reality of the Church, let us learn to bless all that we have, to praise God, to bless and not curse all that has led us to this moment, and to speak words of encouragement to others."
The theological fact is that Jesus does not "become bread," but vice-versa. To say that Jesus becomes bread implies that Jesus ceases and becomes something else, i.e. bread, so that only the substance of bread is present in the consecrated Host. This is what Protestants believe.

The truth is that during the Sacrifice of the Mass, the "simple bread" ceases and becomes Jesus, so that only the substance of Jesus is present. As such, the bread cannot "contain the entire reality of the Church [Christ]" because the bread is not there to contain Him. This is why the physical property of the consecrated Host is called the accidents or sacred species, because cessation of the bread occurs during the consecration of the Mass.

By saying that the bread "contains" Jesus, Francis is also promoting consubstantiation, the coexistence of two substances together, i.e. Jesus and bread, which is what Luther taught and which the Church condemns.

Saying that the bread contains the “entire reality” of the Church also suggests that all things are contained in the Eucharist, thus tending to give an equality to everything, which Francis alludes to by saying, "let us learn to bless all that we have." Shall we bless our adultery too? (AL 303) What about learning to renounce all and to bless only God? Isn't this why we are on earth and why we were baptized Catholic?

Not surprisingly, an earthquake shook the city of Rome a few hours after Francis’ address. Italy’s Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV) put the preliminary magnitude at 3.7. The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre put the magnitude slightly higher, at 3.9.

Was this a sign from God? Was The Lord expressing His indignation over Francis’ error?
Emphasis added.

Analysis: Just a coincidence. A mild earthquake with no fatalities. Not God's style at all.

↑ Somewhere in his autobiography Asimov tells he lost his juvenile faith when he put some "transmuted" bread under a microscope and had to admit it still looked like simple bread.

Science really spoils everything! :x
