↑ Somewhere in his autobiography Asimov tells he lost his juvenile faith when he put some "transmuted" bread under a microscope and had to admit it still looked like simple bread.

Science really spoils everything! :x
I think that might be somebody else. I doubt Asimov came across such bread too often.

Oops, you're right. So who was it? Or did he conduct a transfaith experiment?

The funny thing is, if you take the smartass kid at face value, there is a correct Roman Catholic answer to that question.

Only one. :coolspecs:

Unlike some of their other cockamamieness, the Jehovah's Witnesses' view of gay people is in line with standard brand Christian fundamentalism.

But there is still that inimitable Jehovah's Witness style of being annoying.

Easy for me to laugh, but it must be pure Hell growing up gay in that outfit.

There is no secular or otherwise enforced law in the state of Israel requiring Jews to keep Kosher, so it's just a sloppy public relations thing.

However, marine invertebrates of all kinds are deemed unclean by the Mosaic law.

In some parts of Brooklyn an exception is made for Chinese food. ed can back me up on this. :BigGrin3:
