Well, let's be precise here. That's not the "sole purpose" of the app, it also has other functions like you can use it to renew your driver's license.

Oh come on now. You knew full well what I meant. That's a stupid nit to waste time on. When I acquire free kindle books on amazon, I have to click the "buy" button. Amazon is indeed "selling" free kindle books. I get an email invoice for each every one of them that says the purchase price is $0.00.
