Now I'm wondering which version of the "turbo" button I had. I left it on religiously, and wondered why anyone would ever turn it off.
"If fighting is sure to result in victory, then you must fight! Sun Tzu said that, and I'd say he knows a little bit more about fighting than you do, pal, because he invented it, and then he perfected it so that no living man could best him in the ring of honor. Then, he used his fight money to buy two of every animal on earth, and then he herded them onto a boat, and then he beat the crap out of every single one. And from that day forward any time a bunch of animals are together in one place it's called a zoo! (Beat) Unless it's a farm!"

Had a Turbo button that made my PC go from 8mHz to 12mHz clock speed. Blazing fast.

I DID get a math co-processor installed into my 8086. Used it for my Calculus 3 coursework.

Just another Jobs Wet Dream(tm) Doc. Try to remain calm. :) (Unless this is an iHaveAllYourMoney euphemism for SSD, in which case you're right. :x In this eventuality I shall remain jealous until my next laptop purchase which must, of course, include the wondrous new technology. I understand it's rather much faster than ... spinning discs. :) )

*Smug*

Actually, I always thought it was a way of making your UNUSED HARD DRIVE SPACE LIKE RAM!1!! SO . . . MOAR RAM!!!1!! but no. I learn something new everyday, but BACK IN THE DAY, it was advertised as a way of speeding up your Mac like you had "MOAR t3h RAM."
