Here is an official site
https://stateclimatologist.web.illinois ... gn-urbana/
(this one will be the first station in the thread)

So this is a direct relevant link
https://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/cag/county/ti ... dyear=2014
Here's another
https://mrcc.illinois.edu/mw_climate/climateTrends.jsp

Here's the BOM tool
https://tools.ceit.uq.edu.au/temperature/index.html

and GISS

https://data.giss.nasa.gov/gistemp/maps/

and the NOW pages

https://w2.weather.gov/climate/xmacis.php?wfo=ilx
https://w2.weather.gov/climate/xmacis.php?wfo=lot

(0bvioulsy some of those links also have global data)

With those sources, you might be able to know something about Illinois climate

The actual real data is not easy to find or to look at, but it is possible. The adjustments to the data is also hard to find, but it is possible. It's complicated by the simple fact that each agency applies its own adjustments. And they don't always match.

The actual data, of course, does match, especially when comparing stations, and the climate history of regions.

The graphs will be arriving soon. You can also make your own with the links provided.

The other topic devolved into shenanigans and attempts at humor. We will NOT be so tolerant of such behavior in this one.

How does that fit in with your numbers on pressure temperatures and ice floe formulatives. Explain it with the same timescales using historical base factor of 4 and the Bronson-Cassell subset.

If you can't you're an idiot.

Just in case somebody doesn't understand anomalies, in graphing, here is actual temperature and the same data as anomaly
URBANA_IL_AverageMeanTemperature_Jan_Dec_1921_2014.png
URBANA_IL_AverageMeanTemperatureAnomaly_Jan_Dec_1921_2014.png
This matters, because anomaly graphs are going to be the norm here.

For example
URBANA_IL_AverageMeanTemperatureAnomaly_Jan_Mar_1921_2014.png
The URBANA station actually works well as a proxy for Illinois. While the data from urban stations (like Chicago) shows a pronounced urban heat island, such data is not actually used for climate, because it's shit for trying to study climate change.

Oregons PRISM data (http://prism.oregonstate.edu/explorer/) shows the UHI clearly. Unlike NOAA/GISS/CRU/BEST "data", PRISM actually shows reality. Because it's used for real-world things. Agriculture, heating, trying to calculate needs and trends. You can't use adjusted data for real-world needs, because the adjusted data doesn't match reality.

It's not easy to see shit using PRISM, but that never stopped anyone before.

Here are 100 years of JFMA actual data

three stations

AURORA is the closest station for Urban data

cvs files available if you want to plot the data yourself

For good measure, the relationship between cold and snow in Illinois shows up often when looking at the actual data
URBANA_IL_AverageMeanTemperatureAnomaly_Jan_Mar_1990_2014.png
URBANA_IL_TotalSnowfall_Jan_Mar_1990_2014.png
Some would have you think "warmer means more moisture which means more snow", which is just not how it works

So what became obvious after I simply checked all the USHCN Stations, is that the official “data” presented by GISS NOAA CRU and BEST, is that the experts have lost it

I mean seriously lost it

The propaganda sites are even worse, but the experts running the computer models are screwed, because they use the adjusted data, which is so far from reality now, they are literally putting garbage in

And this problem is for the high quality data areas

Regions that have pretty good stations

The truly shitty stations from around the globe are way way worse

But that is another topic
