Ironman Suit

Post by Anaxagoras »

Not exactly, of course, but still pretty cool:

How useful in reality? The problem I see is that he would be vulnerable to small arms fire while flying.

Snow rescues is already the big use for them. Instead of hours to hike in, rescue crews can be there in two minutes now.

The next step is heavy cargo pods that can bring equipment in, and fly out the injured.

What (mildly) amuses me in the Ironman movies is that with the blows he takes he would be smashed to pulp inside his can. But the suit averts inertia, I suppose. :notsure:

That physics problem exists in almost every movie that has any kind of fight. Especially head trauma from blows that would instantly end any fight.

Seeing as Ironman can stay ahead of F22s with a quick thrusty boost going supersonic, he could easily have obliterated Capt. Overrated and turned him into ground beef before Rogers even heard him coming.

So I don't believe any of it actually happened.
