An adaptation of Micheal Moorcock's Elric novels would also be awesome.

The Dancers at the End of Time series would be better. Elric ended up there in a couple of Moorcock's short stories. Highly entertaining.

If you haven't read them, you should: Mrs. Amelia Underwood is a work of genius.
Shit happens. The older you get, the more often shit happens. So you have to try not to give a shit even when you do. Because, if you give too many shits, you've created your own shit creek and there's no way out other than swimming through the shit. Oh, and fuck.

I've read Elric at the End of Time but none of the others.

I must warn Doctor X that insinuating that a bona fide attempt with appropriate trademarks and rights does not count due to the quality of the result is insufficient cause to list it here. The entry may be withdrawn, but further such may result in an adjudicated loss.

Then, he used his fight money to buy two of every animal on earth, and then he herded them onto a boat, and then he beat the crap out of every single one. Ok, looks like Childhood's End, American Gods, AND Good Omens all have adaptations now. Bonus: A new Watchmen show.

Let's see some Jar Jars!

There will never be a sequel to The Prisoner.

Maybe a sucky remake.

Yes, Flashman would either not be made, or it’s by-the-way telling of the good and bad parts of imperial history by a cad, would become a typical Hollywood moody but good hero gets into hijinks around the world while fighting against imperialists.

(Ha , spellcheck tried to turn hijinks into bikinis. Which flashman would also get into, had they been invented in Victorian times.)

Trivia - did you know that there had been a flashman movie? The prisoner of zenda spoof - royal flash - was filmed in the 70s. Being the 70s it had Malcolm McDowell in it and Oliver reed as Bismarck!

Johnathan strange and Mr. Norrel too.

Give me a few to find an appropriately Christmassy Jar Jar.

I know there is a new adapatation of Dune in the works, but I am confident that no matter how successful it is, they will never do a movie of God Emperor of Dune or the books that come after it, they are just too weird despite the presence of the "Honored Matres" (women who use sexual techniques that literally addict men to having sex with them, a power they use to enslave men. Also, they have what amounts to super kung-fu) which would otherwise put butts in seats.

Malcolm was perfectly cast. The problem with the Flashman series is he is such an utter cad towards everyone, especially women, he would offend and "trigger" all who think that characters represent what the creators advocate. I mean, he rapes one, tosses another from a sleigh, and kicks an Ethiopian Abyssinian girl in the face when she is holding on to him for dear life.

He did have his small moments of regret. Would have loved Jane Horrocks being cast as his wife. Granted "Geordie" is not a Scottish accent, but it is not like anyone would notice.

That is Leto Atreides II. The titular character from God Emperor of Dune. A human/sandworm hybrid. AKA “The Tyrant”

You know, if they just chose oregano instead, we could have been saved a bunch of turgid doorstops.
