Ha. I guess I was infected with the idea of not being yourself from those damn Snickers commercials. Had to sleep on it a few nights before my head was clear enough.

An Oklahoma chemistry professor consults the Breaking Bad writers to make sure the science is correct:

That quote piqued Nelson’s interest. For years, she’d seen scientific facts and the scientific profession portrayed badly on television and in movies. Like most scientists, she was annoyed by it, she said.
“It’s like fingernails on a blackboard,” she said.
I can almost forgive her for being a science professor in Oklahoma. Almost.

I give the final episode 4 of 5.
Spoiler:
I suspect they filmed one sequence where Jesse shot him.

It's over. Finished. Done. There's nothing to talk about.

Best series ever.

Great. Just great.

I'll be spending my Christmas break watching a TV series that everyone has long forgotten.

I'll be like, "Hey, what did you think of that one scene where XXX", and it will be like :tumbleweed:

Teachers in the City of Albuquerque have pretty good benefits and insurance. The maximum out of pocket costs for Walter would have been about $6k and Walter would never hit that just for chemo.

Now you've gone and ruined it for me! :x

ETA: I think he was a bit of a bad seed. That's kinda what they were saying. He's an anti-hero. One you can relate to and sympathize with, but still the bad outweighs the good.

I'm realizing while watching Better Call Saul that I've already forgotten much of Breaking Bad.

My son is old enough to watch it now too.

That's one advantage of memory loss. I get to enjoy this series all over again.....if I can remember where I put the remote.....

No spoilers!

I rewatched the final episode of Breaking Bad before watching El Camino, just to remember where it left off. Jesse was in a bit of a pickle when it ended. El Camino begins where Breaking Bad ended.

Remember the song at the end?

But seriously, Better Call Saul is like watching Breaking Bad at this point. Maybe better.
