Love, Death, Robots.
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt9561862/ep ... t_eps_sn_1
Netflix.

More than an interesting diversion.

Image

18 unrelated storyline episodes. 100% CGI or animation. The CGI is so well done that if you're not paying close attention [some of them] may seem like real actors.

Not recommended for those that don't like blood, guts, sex, and sarcasm.

A trailer is expected here but really would miss the point.

I'm about halfway through. The episodes are mostly quite short. Some of them very short, They range in length from about 6 minutes to maybe 18 minutes. Varying quality. Visually though, many of them are quite good. The stories themselves are kinda Meh for the most part. A few are OK. Contains sex and nudity. Not all of them, but probably half of them.

Yeah, you're right. There are in fact tentacles in the first episode. It's not the best episode I've seen so far, but it does sort of highlight the level of the CG animation. Sets the tone.

It's a good show, even though some episode are meh or less than meh.

It's like Black Mirror but it doesn't suck nor goes on for an hour too long. I think these type of Sci-Fi stories benefit from a short-length format.

I would have to agree with that. For example, they did not drone on the second episode. It had a lot of nice dark humor--like the skeleton of the child in the supermarket basket--without explaining "what" happened or over and over and over and over pointing to the irony and the "twist."

The first similar in that it is limited but quick. Once the point is made, the episodes ends.

Unlike the usual American "SNL"-type need to KEEP POINTING OUT HOW CLEVER OUR SATIRE AND IRONY IS! Y U NO APPRECIATES? SOMETHING WRONGS WITH YOU?
