Interesting Scorsese interview in the NYT

I am in the midst of the Irishman and am sorta enjoying it, it has a sameness, which is not bad given the dreck out there.
This just occurred to me. It is a bit like watching an extended version of LOTR. The added stuff is more of the same but it is an attractive same. Know what I mean?

Part of it did that, but all the action with Don Micheal is sequel.
