What's on your stereogram?

Post by Filippo Lippi »

Works well elsewhere, so I'll give it a go here

The platter that matters most at the moment in the Lippi household is

Bobby 'Blue' Bland - the 3B Blues Boy
"...but please don't shout or speak to me too harshly,
because I'm not particularly brave."

In the last couple of days:

The Country Side of Tina Turner
A Mighty Wind Soundtrack
Live 1964 - Bob Dylan
Born in the USA - Brooce
Random chance seems to have operated in our favour.

Oh man, the band I play with was supposed to open for him a couple of years back.

I still have a scan of the poster here. Bobby 'Blue' Bland

The promoter screwed up. He was supposed to have half the money up front and when he didn’t Bobby took his band and split so the show was canceled.

Damn.

Mark Hollis - s/t

Surely, one of the starkest, quietest, yet beautifulest records ever. Do I really have to wait another 7 years for a new album, Mr Talk Talk guy??
