Just a dalliance. Proles can pretend nothing happened.
As for her legacy alone? Being killed when she did was probably the best thing for it. It was only downhill from that point.
Certainly. As a Wee Spud there was this magazine that use to print news until it stopped back when Saturday Night Live hired comedians. It had a section of quotes. I recall one:
She is so stupid.

– Helen Mirren on Lady Diana Spencer
no context was given. Italics in the Japanese Original. This was back when she caused me to watch Excalibur more often than those slides of shemp's Mom. Older Spuds were watching Caligula of course.

I digress.

Always wondered what generated that quote. I asked a relative who recently lived in Ol' Blightly who explained that that was the general understanding. A friend of hers apparently proclaimed that she has one "A-Level" . . . in home economics. I never bothered to confirm that since it is too good of a fucking story!

This was before Your Queen's "Horrible Anus" and all of that.

Anyways, like Lennon, Joplin, Buddy Holly, JFK, McCartney, she picked a good time to die.

I fail to see what she has personally done to you, or anyone for that matter, to warrant such hostility.

What hostility? Simply observations, and predictions. This is the kind of thing that publicity hounds do: good luck to them! Meghan is undoubtedly a very beautiful and clever person, which makes her very successful at what she does.

Yeah, it's pretty obvious.

Is the same true for the girl who married his brother, I wonder? Kate Middleton, if memory serves.

Is she also a publicity hound who married him for the maximum publicity? After she's milked all the publicity she can out of the marriage, will she start having affairs and such? Just curious whether you think the same thoughts about her that you do about Meghan.

And she wasn't a black daughter of a single parent marrying above her station.

Can't have that.

I would say Harry married above his station. Meghan is a Hollywood star! Harry hasn't starred in anything. He barely has an IMDB page. Meghan is a self-made millionaire. Harry still gets an allowance from his daddy, who in turn gets his cash off the government dole. A welfare queen! Fuckin' loser. He's a second fiddle. A country bumpkin at best. Made to be milked.

OK it's the Daily Fail and all that. But I'm guessing there's just enough truth to this story that it brought a smile to my face. :)

Prince Harry seemed 'trapped' and 'awkward' when he called on the Commonwealth to right past wrongs in a video call with Meghan Markle, body language expert reveals - as viewers agree he looked 'like a hostage'
  • The Duke and Duchess of Sussex took part in a video call with young leaders
  • Clip from the conversation caused a stir when it was released yesterday
  • Prince Harry, 35, said the Commonwealth needs to 'acknowledge its past'
  • Body language expert explains Harry looked 'awkward' during the talk
  • Added he appeared to immediately understand the importance of his words
Prince Harry looked 'awkward' and 'trapped' during the video call in which he called on the Commonwealth to 'acknowledge' its past wrongs, a body language expert has revealed.

The Duke of Sussex, 35, made the divisive comments during a virtual meeting with Meghan Markle, 38, and global young leaders from the Queen's Commonwealth Trust last week, which was made public yesterday.

Speaking from his home in Los Angeles, Prince Harry said the Commonwealth, which is headed by his grandmother the Queen, needs to follow others who have 'acknowledged the past' and are 'trying to right their wrongs'.

The Duchess of Sussex (like Winston Churchill) believes the natives need a strong hand. But she means the natives of the UK.

All natives must atone for the sins of her husband's ancestors. :BigGrin3:

Body language experts are experts at body language so this is an expert opinion by an expert. I think it's true.

Or maybe a trained actress knows how to hold centre stage when a camera is in the room over a notoriously uncharismatic public speaker whom, being a member of the Royal Family, is obviously qualified to tell people how bad colonialism is despite living off it's back for 35 years.

No wonder he looks awkward. Probably embarrassed.

I'm not saying Meghan wears the pants in that relationship, but Harry looks good in a kilt.
