For those of you who don't know pillory's history, when he first joined JREF he posted in a Kawamataesque style, deleting each of his threads shortly after posting them. It was his trademark and contributed to his renown on the forum, and his sig read "This thread will be delete"
(edited to add: As a result, pillory's post count hovered around 0 at all times)
The ability to delete your own threads was eventually taken away, which lead to a moment several months later which caused me to laugh the hardest I have ever laughed. Pillory continued to post as prolifically as he had been, only his threads weren't getting deleted any more.
When the JREF forum started suffering slowdowns and interruptions on a regular basis several months later, Hal (I think it was Hal) started a topic to explain that the server was getting too full. A post immediately followed from pillory.
"Shall I delete something?"
Unfortunately, pillory, I am not sure you have that option here either.

I remember the day that pillory discovered he couldn't delete his threads anymore. Some mispelled cursing about why his thread wouldn't be delete! He missed the announcement apparently. Funny as helll....Luke T. wrote:For those of you who don't know pillory's history, when he first joined JREF he posted in a Kawamataesque style, deleting each of his threads shortly after posting them.
