Either you love or hate Peter Bagge.

I happen to own a hard cover edition of his full length biography of Margaret Sanger in the same style.
It is complete with footnotes and citations.

He also did one for Zora Neale Hurston. I have that one, too. :coolspecs:

I found Spinoza a dreary read and didn't pursue. (And gOD is still unnecessarily lurking from the corners.)

But there are two interesting 18th c. biographies, one by Colerus/Köhler, the other by Lucas. (I presume English translations can be found on the Net.)
Undoubtedly the old Baruch feared nothing.
