The much-reviled 26-year-old web browser once dominated the internet, but never shook its reputation as the slow, buggy net-surfing option.

Explorer, preceded in death by similarly reviled Microsoft icons Hotmail and Clippy, is survived by Microsoft Edge, the next-generation browser Microsoft first put out in 2015.

Shinzo Abe, former Prime Minister of Japan, killed at age 67 in shooting attack as he delivered campaign speech

Japan's former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe was shot as he gave a campaign speech Friday in western Japan and airlifted to a hospital, but the country's national public broadcaster NHK said later that he had succumbed to his injuries. Multiple Japanese and international news outlets cited officials from Abe's political party and the regional hospital where he was treated as confirming his death.

Local fire department official Makoto Morimoto said Abe was in cardiopulmonary arrest, or CPA, meaning he was not breathing and his heart had stopped, even as he was airlifted to the hospital.

Chief Cabinet Secretary Hirokazu Matsuno told reporters that police had arrested a male suspect at the scene of the attack.

As a Very Wee Spud, I remember watching a movie on one of those "oldies" channels. Two Very Important Actors [Tony Curtis and Dean Martin – Ed.] decide the best way to get some ass around their wives, or impress their wives to get their asses, is to pretend they are FBI agent. They even tattoo their feet. [College Professor Curtis has a student kiss him as his wife walks in. It was innocent, but she wants a divorce. It is weirder than it sounds. Anyway, the CIA, FBI, and KGB find out about it.

Larry is a KGB agent who captures them and interrogates them after he hops them up on "the drugs."

"Daaaaawid" he kept saying to "David" to try to get the non-existent information out of him. Frustrated, he threatens to put him in a submarine, "go down deep in ocean," and "David" never come back.

"David" and Idiot Friend wake up in the basement of a building, think it is a Soviet submarine, and try to sink it.

"Daaaaaaawid!"

But no Larry. :(

His wife clearly left Frank Sinatra for failing to stop an assassination, but before she decided to steal a lot of money from a bank. Fortunately, she stopped at a hotel.
